The Excelsior Inn is the perfect venue for an intimate and elegant Wedding Ceremony and Reception. We love what we do and are very detail oriented. We customize the details to fit your expectations with our goal to always exceed those expectations. We strive for your day to be wonderful, relaxed and carefree. After all, it is a day that you will remember the rest of your life. Planning: Our goal is to make planning your wedding and or reception easy for you. We can provide, arrange or recommend almost any service that you might need. This may be your first wedding, but we've done hundreds; all of them beautiful and all of them unique and special. If you can imagine it, we probably can do it!

You are welcome to use all or just part of our facility.
We are masters at manipulating our spaces and can quickly transform our "wedding chapel" into a dining room ready for a formal sit down dinner all the while your guests are congratulating you and enjoying appetizers and beverages on a jasmine perfumed outdoor patio or in front of a warm fire in our trendy European-styled Bistro.

What we can do for you: The Excelsior Inn is an elegant and award winning Fine Dining Restaurant that has been in business for over 30 years. It is also a 14 room Bed and Breakfast Inn that has become a favorite destination for business and pleasure travelers and romantics alike. This combination creates a great opportunity for a weekend of Rehearsal Dinner, Wedding Ceremony and Reception, and Family Brunch without having to ever leave the property. We are happy to do it all.

Outside Services: We would like to be informed of any outside vendors or services that you intend to utilize. Please provide their names and phone numbers. We like to know their arrival or delivery times and any needs that they might have including space, tables, electricity etc. We also make a reminder call to them the week of your wedding.

Ambiance: We are housed in a former sorority house built in 1912. The building has been meticulously and lovingly restored with many custom details. Beautiful woodwork, cozy fireplaces, artful wrought iron railings and fixtures, custom draperies and furnishings and lush Tuscan style courtyards create an atmosphere of relaxed, but elegant comfort. The Excelsior is definitely a unique and unexpected find in Eugene.

Ceremony: The most requested spaces for the wedding ceremony are in the massive bay window overlooking the front courtyard or in front of one of the two large fireplaces. Outdoor ceremonies are possible too - Oregon weather permitting.

The Restaurant: The Restaurant offers a Pacific Northwest menu created with Northern Italian ingredients and preparation styles. For your day, however, the sky is the limit as our chef staff expertise covers several continents and countless styles of cooking. We also will take great pride and care to prepare one of your family recipes for your special day. We have a diverse wine list and a gorgeous and complete bar. We also have a 300 square foot dance floor.

The Current Reception Trend: The most popular style of reception is The Appetizer Party. We love this type of party! Artfully displayed Appetizer Stations are arranged throughout the building for your guests to enjoy and tuxedo uniformed servers also pass appetizers. This style of party tends to be more relaxed, more festive and more conducive for conversation.

Honeymoon Suite: The Bach Room is a large and beautifully furnished room with a massive king-sized four-posted bed, a sitting area with fainting couch, fireplace and view of the front courtyard. The tiled bath features a Jacuzzi style tub suitable for two. His and Hers bathrobes, fresh flowers, champagne and goodies, a CD player and a happy Bride and Groom make this room complete.

Pricing: Let's face it, everyone has a budget. Let us know yours and we can advise you on how to get the most and the best for yours. With our package there are usually only five charges, and depending on the situation, some charges are negotiable.
1) Facility Fee
Facility Fee: Our facility fee is one of the most enticing features of our beautiful property. The fee entitles you to exclusive use of the main level of the Excelsior Inn including the lush outdoor courtyards and everything else that we normally have here to operate the restaurant i.e. tables, chairs, linens, glassware, service ware and our professional wait staff to service your party.
